An amber special-purpose lubricant for open mechanisms such as chains, open gears, worm screws, and cables.
LOCTITE® LB 8101 is an adhesive grease with mineral oil, lithium soap and EP-additives for exposed mechanical systems with an operating temperature range of -30°C to 170°C (-22°F to 338°F). It's typically used for lubricating lubricate chains, open gears, worm screws, and cables, where it protects against water ingress and provides resistance against wear. It also resists high pressure and centrifugal forces on high-speed mechanisms.
