LOCTITE® AA 3504
Features and Benefits
slide 1 of 1
A 1-part, medium-viscosity, anaerobic-cure structural adhesive for bonding ferrites to electroplated metal parts.
LOCTITE® AA 3504 is an amber, urethane methacrylate-based structural adhesive. It’s typically used for bonding ferrites to plated materials in electric motors, loudspeaker hardware, and jewelry, where fast-fixturing is required and adhesive outside the bond line must be completely cured. It offers good resistance to impact and humidity and tolerates operating temperatures up to 120°C (248°F). LOCTITE AA 3504 is a 1-part adhesive but requires activator LOCTITE® SF 7649 before use. It can be cured when exposed to UV radiation of 365 nm. To obtain full cure on surfaces exposed to air, radiation at 250 nm is also required.
- LOCTITE SF 7649 activator required for use
- Temperature resistant up to 120°C (248 °F)
- Resistant to impact and humidity
- Dual cure: activator or UV light
