LOCTITE® 425 is a dark blue, cyanoacrylate-based adhesive specially designed as a fast curing, low-strength adhesive for locking metal and plastic fasteners. Ideal for pre- or post-application. Fixture speed can be increased by using a LOCTITE® activator, such as LOCTITE® SF 7113. It is typically used in applications with an operating range of -54°C to 85°C (-65°F to 185°F).
- 2-minute cure on plated metal and plastic fasteners with full strength in 24 hours
- Used for tamper proofing the heads of screws or potentiometers
