LOCTITE® 6300
Features and Benefits
A 1-part, high strength, low-viscosity retaining compound for bonding cylindrical fitting parts.
LOCTITE® 6300, part of the Health and Safety anaerobic range, is a green, high-strength retaining compound for bonding cylindrical fitting parts, suitable for a maximum diametrical clearance of 0.15 mm (0.006"). It's typically used for holding gears and sprockets onto gearbox shafts and rotors on electric motor shafts, but is also approved for use on bearings. This low viscosity dimethacrylate ester acrylic liquid cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces or when exposed to UV light of sufficient intensity. It’s designed to prevent loosening and leakage from shock and vibration.
