Sealants for Cover, Drum & Pail

Henkel’s range of sealants for cover, drum and pail enables manufacturers to cut energy consumption, which reduces costs and contributes to sustainability. 

Our portfolio includes specialty compounds for sealing the seam channels of double or triple seams on steel drums and pails. These solutions fill the voids and potential leakage points that could occur during manufacture or at a later stage in the life cycle, such as during transport. We provide sealants for cover, drum and pail based on two technologies: latex dispersion for water-based compounds and PVC dispersions for plastisol compounds. They are specially formulated to have excellent chemical resistance and do not become brittle when dried, while also curing at the same temperature as the coatings. Our sealants are approved by the UN for the transport of hazardous goods.
