LOCTITE MAX 3 is an polyurethane based matrix resin for application in resin injection processes (Resin Transfer Molding, RTM).
LOCTITE® MAX 3 is a low viscous product which when fully cured shows exceptional mechanical performance under static, and especially under dynamic load conditions (e.g. shear strength or resistance against crack propagation).Cure time can be adjusted with an activator. This product also shows excellent resistance against all fluids used in cars. Main application is the manufacturing of fiber reinforced composites based on glass or carbon fibers, particularly leaf springs.
