Phosphating is a traditional process to protect electroplated galvanized steel coil – and this method still delivers excellent results. Phosphate layers give a good corrosion protection and paint adhesion. BONDERITE^® has a tried-and-trusted portfolio of high-performance technologies for electroplated galvanized steel that leverage tri-cation phosphating, as used in the automotive industry to pre-phosphate coil material. These layers offer very good properties for stamping parts and for structural bonding. Our make-up, replenisher and refiner products are specifically formulated for short contact times in coil production to maximize efficiency.
