Ideal for irregularly-shaped vehicle panels that require localized stiffening enhancement, TEROSON RB 5185 is a rubber-based, sprayable panel reinforcement solution. Robotic application accommodates swirl and flat stream methods as well as the fast, precise and highly efficient jet stream spray. RB 5185 heat-cures across a broad temperature range starting at 140°C and can be applied to a variety of areas where corrosion resistance, panel deformation and the curing window are key considerations. In addition to eliminating the manual placement required for epoxy reinforcement patches, the spray-on format enhances sustainability by eliminating patch packaging and release paper destined for landfills, while reducing CO2 emissions by 50% in comparison to the previous solution.
