LOCTITE® 662
Features and Benefits
A 1-part, medium strength, medium-viscosity retaining compound for bonding cylindrical fitting parts.
LOCTITE® 662 is a yellow, medium-strength retaining compound for bonding cylindrical fitting parts, particularly where product outside the bondline must be completely cured. Narrow beads of this product can be solidified – even when in contact with air or by exposure to high- intensity, short-wavelength UV light. This medium-viscosity urethane methacrylate acrylic liquid cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces or when exposed to UV light of sufficient intensity. It’s designed to prevent loosening and leakage from shock and vibration. It has a 7-minute fixture time on steel and an operating temperature range of -55°C to 150°C (-67°F to 302°F).
