BONDERITE® C-IC SC0592

BONDERITE® C-IC SC0592 is a highly effective liquid, non-chromated desmutter/deoxidizer for wrought and extruded aluminum alloys (high silicon castings are exceptions). BONDERITE C-IC SC0592 reduces the pollution problems associated with chromated desmutters/deoxidizers. BONDERITE C-IC SC0592 is recommended for use in areas where chromated products cannot be used because of pollution problems and sewage disposal limitations. BONDERITE C-IC SC0592 contains fluorides and is strongly acidic. Contact with the skin or eyes may cause irritation or burns. The same safety precautions should be observed as when handling acid fluoride products. Personnel should wear eye protection, NIOSH approved air mask, rubber gloves and apron or other protective clothing when working with BONDERITE C-IC SC0592. Tanks used for BONDERITE C-IC SC0592 should be provided with an adequate exhaust system to protect the workers against irritating airborne contaminants.
