Stiffening adhesives are applied across main structures of the car body, supporting rigidity and stiffness where it is critical. Our portfolio primarily consists of epoxy-based formulations which exhibit high stiffness and strength with a good level of crash resistance. Rubber-based adhesives are also available for application that requires high stiffness and medium strength.
Hem-flange adhesives are typically used to join class-A surfaces and replace spot welds and rivets where distortions are undesirable. Hemming also hides raw cut edges of metal sheets and protects the cut edge of bare steel from corrosion. Our portfolio hosts a variety of options, including epoxy, rubber, or PVC-epoxy-blended bases.
