The compactly designed SONDERHOFF 3E dosing cell has been developed as a basic model for foam gasketing, bonding and potting standard applications with FIP (Formed-In-Place) technology.
It is a low-pressure mixing and dosing machine that accurately processes liquid, medium and high-viscosity 2-component material systems. The 2K material system used is dynamically and homogeneously mixed in the mixing head. The fully automatic material application takes place in the dosing cell using the CNC-controlled mixing head with precise dosing accurate to the contour and dimension of the parts.
The 3E dosing cell series consists of the standardized 3E PUR mixing and dosing machines for processing 2K polyurethane systems and the 3E SIL for 2K silicone systems.
Due to the success of the 3E systems, and the increased requests to also customize the dosing cell, we have developed the configurable 3E FLEX. It offers flexible configurations for adaptation to different customer production concepts.
All three dosing cells (3E PUR / SIL and FLEX) have one thing in common: quick commissioning: set up, connect, and produce – place, plug & work!
The 3E dosing cells are delivered in one piece, fully assembled and in a 20 ft. container.
The three types of 3E machines are equipped with DM 50x technology and different precision mixing heads, such as the MK 825 BASIC or MK 825 PLUS, which score with innovative improvements. They ensure maximum process stability during fully automatic dosing of the 2K material systems used.
The ecological high-pressure water rinsing system installed in the dosing cell is used to clean the mixing chamber from material residues of the reactive 2K materials used. The use of tap water under high pressure saves costs, as material and disposal costs are not needed compared to the conventional use of solvents.
All components of the dispensing machine are arranged on a chassis so that the dosing cell can be relocated very easily within production if required. As a production island, it requires very little space, with an installation area of approx. 9 square meters.
Various technical service options are available to ensure continuously high machine availability. Preventive and planned maintenance is the basic idea here.
