LOCTITE® 259 is a purple, low-viscosity, dimethacrylate ester, acrylic, threadlocking adhesive . The product is designed for the locking and sealing of threaded fasteners which normally require disassembly with hand tools. LOCTITE® 259 cures anaerobically between close-fitting metal surfaces, and prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration.
