LOCTITE® 565
Features and Benefits
This low strength, high-viscosity thread sealant is UL classified to prevent loosening and leakage from vibration in devices handling gasoline, petroleum oils, and natural gas.
LOCTITE® 565 is a white, 1-part pipe sealant that provides an instant seal for air pressure testing. It is designed for locking and sealing tapered metal pipe threads and fittings. It cures when confined in the absence of air between close fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration. It is resistant to most industrial fluids, and withstands continuous temperatures to 150°C (300°F), and intermittent to 190°C (375°F). It has controlled torque strength for easy disassembly and is low odor.
- NSF/ANSI 61 certified
- 1-part: no mixing required
- Ideal for metal pipes and fittings
- Low disassembly strength
- UL MH8007 & ULC MH27131 classified
