TEROSON® EP 1401

TEROSON® EP 1401 is designed to reinforce cavities, metal sheets, and structural parts, enhancing load-bearing capacity and vibration performance of assemblies. Containing hollow microspheres, TEROSON® EP 1401 boosts stiffness, strength, and fatigue resistance. The foam expands when heated above 70°C, with the degree of expansion depending on material volume and geometry. It can be sandwiched between panels or applied with a spatula on flat surfaces with a fiberglass mesh finish. The mixed compound has a ~90-minute processing time (23°C/73°F, 50% rh). Full cure occurs at 80°C (140°F) for 30 minutes. For application, please use a pneumatic or manual, dual cartridge dispenser, e.g. LOCTITE® HD14 Handheld Pneumatic Dual Cartridge Dispenser (200ml, item 2693824) or LOCTITE® HD14 Handheld Manual Dual Cartridge Dispenser (200ml, item 2693822). Before application, surface pretreatment with TEROSON® VR 10 is recommended.
