Features and Benefits
slide 1 of 1
A 1-part, gray, low-strength, synthetic rubber assembly sealant for mechanically-fixed side lap joints.
TEROSON® RB 4006 is a gray, gun-grade, low-solvent, butyl rubber-based assembly sealant for metal and plastic applications in vehicle and caravan manufacturing. It’s typically used for sealing mechanically fixed side lap joints on frame constructions, facades, steel and sheet constructions and can be applied on horizontal and vertical areas without draining off. It cures to form an extrudable, rigid plastic material that adheres well to almost all substrates. Due to its deformability, TEROSON RB 4006 should only be used for sealing gaps with little or no movement.
- Skin formation time: 20 to 30 min
- Doesn't drain off
- Extrudable
- Good sag resistance
